You stand in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. You leave the French Toast to cook while you go to the fridge, to get the fruit out.
You always have a small bowl of that on the side. Once you get that out, you go to the stove real quick, to flip the toast.
Then you fill three bowls with the Strawberries, Grapes, and Honey Dew. Joe walks into the kitchen, with Nick following behind him.
Joe looks irritated, like always. Nick is special, he's not like most kids. And your brother, not having much patience, doesn't want anything to do with him.
That upsets you, because you love that boy more than anything. You have a responsability, you have to take care of him. Because without you, he wouldn't be able to make it.
He can't take care of himself, and he knows very little things. He knows how to show you what he wants, but he doesn't know how to talk. Only simple words.
You finish breakfast, and serve it. Nick goes right up to the table, and sits down. You smile, and go right up to him. Giving him a hug from behind, and you kiss him on the top of his head.
Joe gives a look, almost of disgust. And you just roll your eyes.
You find it sad that Nick doesn't understand how much he annoys Joe. Because you know that he loves both of you. Joe is always saying things like 'He hates me.' And, 'He's trying to piss me off.'
And he acts like the perfect little angel in front of you, and that he's out to get him. That he favorites you, but he doesn't. He doesn't know how to act in front of certain people.
If he does something wrong, you usually let it slide. And you fix it. Joe, he's different. If Nick does something wrong, he yells at him.
You don't like how he does things, but you ignore it.
You're all eating in peace, but you see that Nick isn't. You see that he's playing with his food. You tell nicely to stop doing that, and to eat. He stares at you for a second, before slowly shaking his head 'no'. You smile, and cut his French Toast for him, pretending the fork is a plan, you tell him to open up. Like you always do.,
He laughs like a little kid, and does so. He's used to you doing everything for him, so he understands when you feed him, and he listens. Joe mumbles that he doesn't understand how you could do that.
Have the patience, and not be tired of him. You sigh, and ignore him. Sometimes, you feel like he hates Nick. But you won't say anything. Joe's little comments don't matter to you.
You're by yourself taking care of him, you always have been. But you don't mind. He makes you happy.
When you're not looking, he takes a grape, and throws it on the floor. You look over to where it was thrown, and you lean down to pick it up. Hearing Joe yell at him.
You ask him what his problem is, and he tells you that Nick threw a grape at him. You tell him to leave him alone, and that he's just playing around.
But he looks annoyed, and pushes his plate away. He gets up, and leaves. Sometimes, he really makes you mad. But you know you can't do anything about it.
You clean up the table, and do the dishes while Nick sits at the table and watches you. He stays with you at all times, when you're not at work..
He follows you, it's like he admires you. You find that cute. It's like he's a puppy.
Once you're done cleaning up the kitchen, you go upstairs, and knock on Joe's door. Nick follows behind, and you smile at him. Holding your hand out. He takes it, and you wrap an arm around him.
Joe opens up his door, and looks at you. He asks what you want, and you tell him you're going to have to go to work, and he sighs. Because he knows what that means.
He has to watch Nick, and that never goes well. Because he doesn't know how to control him. You tell him to deal with it, and that you'll be home later. He just rolls his eyes, and slams his bedroom door.

It's 9:00 A.M and you're left at home with your little brother.
Kevin left for work, and you hate it. Sometimes, you feel like an asshole. You know people think of you as one. You can't help it, though. You're frustrated.
You don't know how to take care of Nick. You don't have any patience, and you feel like you mess everything up. Also, you think Nick hates you.
Wait, you don't think. You know. He does everything wrong in front of you, and he acts so good in front of Kevin.
You take him to his room, and you sit him down on his bed. You try your best to tell him nicely to stay there. He just nods, and starts swinging his legs. You force a smile, and turn around.
Going to your room, grabbing a change of clothes. Then you go to the bathroom. You start the shower, and take off your clothes. Stepping inside.
You hurriedly shower, because you know that leaving Nick alone for a certain amount of time can't be good. Especially with just you home, since he doesn't listen to you.
And you feel kind of stupid for leaving him alone. But you're trying. You really are, even though it's hard to show it. You know that inside.
You finish showering, and throw your clothes on. You brush your hair and teeth, and leave. You go to his bedroom, to not find him there. You're confused, so you go to your room.
You cover your face with both hands, and let out a long sigh. You know you can't scream at him, because you're trying to be better with him. But sometimes, he makes it so hard.
Biting down hard on your lip, you walk over to where he's sitting on the bed. He looks so innocent, you hate it. You hate how your older brother falls for everything he does.
He's so adorable, your brother ignores everything bad he does, and he lets it pass. He doesn't punish him, he doesn't yell at him. Or lift a finger at all.
You ask him why he did it, and he doesn't answer. He never talks to you. At all. You ask him again slowly, and you even ask him please, to tell you.
He shakes his head, and starts swinging his feet again. You sigh, and look around your trashed room. Books are thrown around, your bed is completely messed up.
Pages from the books on the floor are ripped out. The small trash can you had near your desk is knocked over, and everything is on the floor.
You turn to him, and decide to ask him if he hates you. You know he will understand you.
He shakes his head, with a smile. And you know he's lying. You tell him he does, and that why else would he be like this towards you. You tell him that you don't hate him,
and he nods his head yes. You take his hands, and you tell him, that even though you can be a complete jerk to him, you love him. He tilts his head, and he looks confused.
You smile at him, and pat his hair. This is probably the nicest you've ever been to him, and that makes you feel bad. But it's never too late.
He looks at you, and points to you, and slowly repetes the last thing you said. You nod a bit, and tell him again that you love him.
Pointing to yourself, you made a heart with your hand, then pointed to him. This is the first time in a very long time that you've heard him talk, to just you. And that made your stomach jump.
You couldn't help but feel happy. He smiled widely, and jumped for you. Causing you to fall back, with him on you. He hugged you tightly, and you laughed, and hugged him back.
You asked him if he's happy, and he nodded right away.  He looked down at you, and he kissed you on the lips. Your eyes widened, but you didn't do anything. You just froze.
When he pulled away, you asked him why he did that. He just laughed, like he always does, and wiggled his hips a bit. He told you that he saw that on TV, and that you do that when you love someone.
Somehow, you found yourself blushing. You don't know how, and you really don't quite understand why, but you did. You just stroked his cheek, and nodded. And said, yes. Agreeing with him.
You didn't tell him that it's bad, and that brothers shouldn't kiss. You couldn't. You're sure he would end up sad, so you just let him.
Making a gesture, you nicely asked Nick to get off you. He did as asked, and sat at the end of your bed. You're not exactly sure how to entertain him, and you don't know how Kevin does it.
So you left him in your room, to go into his, and get him his favorite stuffed animal. It was an old bear, but he loved it. You came back, and gave it to him. Seeing his face light up a little.
Grabbing your homework, you sat back down next to him on the bed. You may not be doing much, and all he can do is watch you while you do your school work, but it shouldn't matter.
Because, really, anything amuses him. He's fifteen with the mind of a very small child.
It was later on that night, after you finished your homework, and cleaned up the house a bit. You finally feel like you're doing something, and you feel better about yourself.
It's six, Kevin should be home soon. And you know for sure that he should be pleased once he comes home.
You start to make dinner, while Nick sits on the couch in the living room, watching TV. Minding, like he should be. You feel accomplished at this moment.
You make Spaghetti, finishing just in time as Kevin walks through the door. You serve dinner, and smile as he walks into the kitchen. He's surprised that you cooked dinner,
because you don't do it as much as you used to. You would normally order something, but you took the time tonight. Nick calls his name, and runs into the kitchen. Slinging his arms around Kevin.
He smiles, and asks Nick if you were nice to him. He nods his head, with a wide smile on his face. Kevin turns to you, and is actually surprised that you two are getting along. He doesn't say anything else to you, he just sits down at the table. With Nick sitting next to him. You sit across from the both of them, and you all eat your dinner. Talking about how your day went.
Kevin talked about his day at work, and you didn't at all tell him about what happened earlier this morning. About your room being trashed, or Nick kissing you. You just say that he minded, like the good boy he is. Because you're not exactly sure if that is good, or bad. After finishing dinner together, happier than usual, you offer cleaning up. Kevin agrees happily to let you, and he takes Nick to give him his bath.

You sit Nick down on the toilet, and leave him quickly to grab a towel, and a change of clothes for him.
You come back to find him swaying, and smiling up at you. You run his bath, letting it warm up as you undress him. He holds his arms up as you pull his shirt off, and you unbutton his pants, and pull them down. He steps right out of them for you. You tell him to take off his boxers as you put bubbles in his bath. He goes, and climbs into the bathtub. You grab the shampoo and conditioner, and sit by the tub. He starts splashing the water, and you just laugh at him, as you pour the soap into your hand. Washing his hair. You grab a cup, and fill it with water. Pouring it over his head to rinse his hair. He shuts his eyes tightly as the water falls down his face, and he covers his eyes. You sit the cup down, and pick up the bottle of conditioner. Just as you start to pour it into your hand, you feel water hit the side of your face. You look at Nick, and see him splashing water at you. You fake a shocked look, and splash him back. Causing him to giggle, he pulls his knees up, and tries to look away. You wrap your arms around him, not caring if you'll get wet. You pull back, and condtion his hair. While you're washing him, he starts to push you playfully. You calmly tell him to stop, and that you two can play after you finish giving him a bath. He pouts, and crosses his arms. You apologize, and tell him you promise that you'll play with him later. That even Joe can. And you see his face light up when you mention him. You ask him if he likes Joe, if he enjoys being around him, and he nods his head yes. You smile, and tell him that you do, too. And you finish bathing him. Once you're done, you help him climb out of the tub, and you dry him off. Helping him get dressed after. You tell him to go to Joe, and you shoo him out of the bathroom. So that you can clean up. You take a towel, and use that to dry up the floor, and the edge, and outside of the bathtub. You take the towels, and Nick's dirty clothes to the washing machine, and throw them in there. Going up to Joe's room, you find them both sitting on the bed. You see Nick going through some books, and he picks one out, and holds it up to Joe. Asking him to read it to him.
You climb on the bed next to Nick, and sit back. While he leans on you. You wrap your arms around him, and feel him relax in your hold. Joe flips the book open, and he goes to the first page.
Everynight, you would read something to your little brother. It was a way to help him fall asleep. This time, Joe helped out. He read the book, giving each character their own voice. Causing you, and Nick to laugh. You were so happy that they were both getting along.
You now feel like you can live peacefully. Yes, it's normal for brothers to argue. But you thought it was wrong.
Joe got halfway through reading the book, when Nick finally started to fall asleep. You carefully got up, making sure not to wake him, and you tucked him into bed. Joe sat the book down on the nightstand, and you both left, making sure to turn the light off on your way out.
You walked down to the living room, and you sat on the couch. With Joe joining next to you. You turned the TV on, and flipped through the channels. Joe stood up, and asked you if you wanted ice cream. You smiled, and nodded your head yes. He left to the kitchen, and you found a decent movie on. It was just another one of those cheesey romantic movies. You grabbed a pillow, and sat at one end of the couch, with your knees pulled up. He came back, handing you your bowl of ice cream. He sat right next to you, smiling at you. He made a small joke about the movie you picked, but he didn't mind. He's not really the kind of person to watch those romantic movies. But he can sit through them.
You halfway finished your icecream, when Joe took his finger, and wiped some of his on your nose. You paused, and stared at him for a second. Before taking some of your ice cream, and wiping it on his cheek. He just gasped, and you grabbed a napkin, cleaning it off him. While you blame him for it, since he was the one who started it.  You continue watching the movie, and you talk about what plans you have tomorrow. He just has school, and you're going to watch Nick until he gets home, then you have to leave for work. That's how it normally is, only this time, Joe is actually excited for it. And you hope that's how it'll stay. You caught him staring at you oddly, and you asked him what is it. And if there's anything wrong with you. He shakes his head, and laughs. Pointing to his mouth, you ask if there's anything on you. He says yes, and you see him hesitating. He leans in, gently licking the corner of your mouth. You feel your cheeks heat up by his actions, and he looks you in the eyes. He smiles, leaning back in, he presses his lips against yours.
Okay, so yes, the point of view's are fucked.

This story is between Kevin and Joe's point of views.

The first is Kevin's, then Joe's, then back to Kevin's.

If it's too confusing for you, then, oh well.

I wanted to try something newwww, so yeah. :U

It may look boring at first, but you're just going to have to read it.
